My side of the story

Ok, so you all know that I work for Sarah's uncle.  Well during my time working with Scot, "Sarah's Uncle." He would always talk to me about his niece Sarah. He would tell me how fun she was, and how attractive and how he couldn't understand why she wasn't married.  I'll admit I didn't pay all that much attention to it, because I figured what's the point, she lives in San Diego. Well as the days went by and the topic would come up from time to time, and then pictures were shown. I'll admit, I thought she was cute.
So one day Scot sends me over to Sarah's parents place to do some work. So while I'm there crouched on the floor working, in comes Sarah and her mom. The first thought that ran through my mind was "Ya, right Scot. Thanks for putting Sarah in my mind. That's never going to happen. She's way out of my league." Sarah was not just cute, but beautiful. When I saw her I was blown away. I also put her out of my mind again. There was just no way.
So more time went by, and then in March came around and her dad told me to ask her out. His exact words were, "She'll go out with you." So now I'm thinking that both Scot and Kim want me to ask her out. I have to, don't want to have the excuse of never trying.
So the day that I decide to ask Sarah out was kind of a weird day. First I called and no one answered the phone. In my mind I figured, Hey at least I tried! Later that day I thought I would give it one more try. This time her dad answered and told me she was a sleep and to call back a little later. I did and this time Sarah was gone. Now I think this is just not happening. But Kim wasn't giving up and once again I was told to call back a little later. I called a little later, and Sarah had come and gone once again. This time I was told to just come over and wait for her to come home. I thought, ya that will go well. Nothing like ambushing some  before you ask them on a date. So I go over there and it was a fitting conclusion to a already strange day.
So here I am with her parents trying to figure out the best way to go about this. We're sitting there coming up with schemes and things. Like I would act like I was there working when she comes home and act all natural and then just casually ask her to go get something to eat. Nothing went according to plan. First off, I'm there in my good clothes, not work clothes. Another thing Sarah isn't dumb. Sarah also didn't give her dad time to introduce me to her, but instead introduced herself. That through us all off, and our well laid plans. Ok long story short, Sarah figured out why I was there, and wasn't to happy about it. I ended up sitting in the living room all by myself for I don't know how long. And then Sarah comes down and we just start talking. After about 45 min, I ask her if she wants to go get some food.
We went out and had a good time. Not what I was expecting. We had a great time, talked for hours with no uncomfortable spots. After the date I took her home and as I was walking her to the door I asked if she would like to go out again. She surprised me by saying yes.
The second date was like the first, but the third date was the date I finally kissed her. I was nervous the whole time, but I finally maned up and kissed her at the end of the date. Nothing supper special, but a nice kiss. Couldn't stop smiling after wards. A few weeks late I found out how much the kiss affected Sarah when she invited me down to San Diego to really get to know her.
Basically I liked Sarah up here, but I feel in love with her down there. While I was down there every thing just felt right. That's when I knew I wanted to marry her. So I asked and she said yes, and before we knew it we were buying the rings and setting the date.
And that's my side of the story, mostly!
